Product Orders

It is the consumers responsibility to ensure that all orders placed are correctly.

More Than Paws will not accept liability for incorrect product selections.

 

Product Supply

We endeavour to supply all items displayed on this Web Site.

However, occasionally products are sold out, temporarily unavailable or discontinued. 

If this problem occurs, we will contact you within 24 hours.  

Some items not kept in stock will generally be sent directly from our supplier or manufacturer.

 

Payments

More Than Paws accept payment by Credit Card, Direct Debit or Paypal.

All Credit card purchases are made securely over 128-bit SSL encryption through Westpac Web Advantage.

Payment must be received with your order.
No goods will be dispatched without confirmation of payment. 

If for some reason, there is a problem processing your payment, you will be notified within 24 hours.

All our products are GST included.

 

Processing of Orders

Orders will be processed within 24 hours of placement and are dispatched within 48 hours.

Orders received over the weekend or on public holidays, will not be dispatched until the next business day.

Normal delivery time is within 2 - 5 business days.

If there is a problem with processing your order, or if any further delays are expected, you will be notified within 24 hours.

 

Postage / Freight / Shipping

A minimum postage/shipping rate of $7.95 applies.

More Than Paws primarily use Australia Post for the dispatch of orders.

However, based on the weight of certain products, we may opt to send order by courier.

 

More Than Paws does not currently supply Internationally.

 

Returns

More Than Paws will take every care to ensure your products are packaged securely at time of dispatch.

Please choose carefully.

We do not refund if you change your mind or make the wrong selection.

We take no responsibility for damages caused in transit. 

If your goods do reach you in unsatisfactory condition, a claim MUST be made in writing within 7 days from receipt of order/goods to returns@morethanpaws.com.au

Products must be returned within 14 days of delivery date and MUST be in original packaging.

We reserve the right to replace or repair goods that fall under manufacturer fault.

No refund on freight costs.

 

Privacy

Your Privacy is important to us.

Your Account information is used for shipping and billing purposes only.

Any information supplied to More Than Paws will not be passed to outside parties, with the exception of your address for delivery purposes or unless required to do so by law.

Occasionally we may run surveys, competitions or send emails relating to monthly specials.

When you register your details with More Than Paws, you have the option of opting out of this feature.

Surveys

Occasionally More Than Paws will run surveys based on the website, products and service.

These surveys are generally by invitation, and for website subscribers only.

Information you supply will not be passed on to anyone else, and is used only for improving our website, product supply and services.

Surveys that are deemed rude or offensive, will not be acknowledged.

 

Pet of the Month Competition

Open to Australian Residents only.

Entries close on the last day of each month.

All entries are judged by a third party, More Than Paws do not participate in the decision making.  There is only one winner, and the judges decision is final.

Should your pet be the lucky winner, you will be notified by email.

$50 online Shopping Voucher prizes are only valid for 3 months from date of notification.

You must use the voucher code provided in winner email to apply the $50 credit.

The Gift Voucher will expire once the voucher code is used.

No credits or remaining balances will be carried over, the voucher must be used in full.

 

Help and Advice

More Than Paws will offer advice at the request of the customer.


In some cases, an animal may have a reaction to certain products.
More Than Paws will in no way be held liable for any damages, whether directly or indirectly due to the use of a product supplied by us.

Any advise offered is based on personal knowledge or experience or information provided by the manufacturers of products.


We recommend you consult a veterinarian before using any products purchased from More Than Paws.

 

Home Pet Care Disclaimer                                                     

More Than Paws employs Home Pet Care Sitters who are required to demonstrate a high level of professionalism, customer courtesy and above all, the obvious concern and passion for the well being and safety of animals.

At the customer's request, references will be supplied for all Home Pet Care Sitters.

More Than Paws Home Pet Care Sitters are sub-contracted by More Than Paws, and while we do encourage customers to employ the services of More Than Paws Home Pet Care Services customers do so at their own risk. 

All enquiries concerning In-Home Pet Care will be responded to by the person/pet carer responsible for providing the service to the customer. 

Obligation free Customer/Carer meetings are encouraged prior to commencement of Home Pet Care to ensure any questions or concerns are covered, and you and your pet are comfortable with your carer.  Any additional requests should be covered at this Pre-care meeting.  Requests may include administering Pet Medications, Pet Walking and/or play, Pet comforts, care or Phobias, Wheelie Bins, Indoor & Outdoor Plant Care, Newspaper & Mail collection, Curtain & House Lighting, etc.  Your Home Pet Care Service will be tailored to suit you and your pets needs.

Customers must supply pet's veterinarian details in case of emergency, as well as an alternative emergency contact in case you cannot be reached.  If an emergency vet visit is required, the customer must agree to pay any out of pocket expenses incurred.

Customers/pet owners are to provide adequate food and required medications for the duration of the pet care period.  If additional food, toileting supplies or medications are required, the customer agrees to pay any out of pocket expenses.  The Pet Carer must provide receipts.  More Than Paws can provide Food, Toileting Supplies & Medication at reasonable rates, please enquire if you require this service.

More Than Paws take no responsibility for negligence of any kind to property, home or pets where entry to premises has been given to a relative, neighbour, friend, cleaner, tradesman, real estate agents etc.  More Than Paws will not take responsibility for any damage casued either by Human or Animal, or fines by Council, police or other authorities due to an animals behaviour (eg: excessive barking)

If your pet is an outside pet, More Than Paws will not take responsibility for pets going missing and the cost of retrieving any missing pets will be at the Owners/Customers expense.

Prior to commencement of care, customers will receive written documentation outlining fees and services provided based on your Pre-care meeting.  This documentation must be signed and returned to More Than Paws before Home Pet Care can begin.

At the conclusion of the Home Pet Care service, carers will phone or visit the customer to ensure they have returned home and to arrange for all keys to be returned.  At this time, customers will be provided with a Feedback/Rating form.

Home Pet Care Payment Terms & Conditions will in detail, be discussed prior to commencement of Care.  However, payment is required in full before pet care commences.

More Than Paws prefer that payment in made directly to your personal Pet Carer either by Cash, Cheque or Direct Deposit into their Bank Account.  If your preferred method of payment is Credit Card, this will be processed through More Than Paws at no extra charge.

More Than Paws require 72 hours (3 days) notice of any cancellations.  If cancellation notice is received 72 hours (3 days) prior to commencement of care, a full refund of any monies received will be made.  Cancellations made outside of this time frame may incur a 20% cancellation fee.

 

Price Guarantee

At More Than Paws, we constantly strive to make sure our prices are the very best value in Australia.

More Than Paws will beat any genuine offer for one of our products from an Australian store or Website.

If you find a lower price from one of our competitors, drop us a line at priceguarantee@morethanpaws.com.au or fax it to (07) 3351 8720 with proof of the competing price.

We will issue you with a one off voucher code for the product, redeemable at checkout and valid for 7 days.

Of course, some terms and conditions apply:

  • Written proof of competing price and competitor must be supplied.
  • The price must be a current advertised offer for an identical product stocked by us.
  • Excludes wholesale and trade offers - retail buyers only
  • Quantities limited to 3 and subject to availability of stock.
  • We reserve the right to not sell under our cost.
  • We cannot guarantee to beat prices from foreign websites or for products originating outside Australia or priced in foreign currency.
  • Verification of competing price may take 24 - 48 hours.
  • The competing price must be brought to our attention prior to your purchase.  We cannot refund after purchase.
